You can catch Mewtwo in FireRed :P Go to Cerulean Cave after you have beaten the Elite four, and work your way through the cave, and eventually you'll reach Mewtwo, but BEWARE! he's really strong and powerful. Its best to have a Pokemon with the Pressure ability, so that Mewtwo will quickly run out of PP and use Struggle, but BEWARE! of Struggle too, it deals a lot of damage on the recoil, so you have a small window for catching opportunity
