What character are in the first Artemis Fowl book?

I have 4 favourite characters in that book. First Holly Short, I think she's a wonderful character. Artemis is obviously one of my favourites, too. And I must say that I really love Mulch and Foaly. I prefer Holly Short because she is really determined like Artemis Fowl. Holly Short is quick witted when she is in danger.

Artemis Fowl- The main character. Child Genius. Criminal Mastermind. VERY driven to exploit the People (at least until the second book, that is...)

Holly Short- The first female officer in the LEP. Excels at her job. Commonly yelled at by authorities. Loyal, truthful, driven.

Butler- Artemis Fowl's bodyguard and butler. The most dangerous man on the plantet. He can kill you 57 ways with his hands and is one of the three humans who knows about the people.

Opal Koboi- The main villain in the series. A sycotic genius. Plans to take over the world and has a weakness for CHOCOLATE.

Artemis Fowl I- Artemis Fowl II's father (obviously). Missing, presumed dead (until the second book).

Angeline Fowl- Artemis Fowl's mother. Driven insane by the loss of her husband and keeps to her bed.

Juliet Butler- Butler's younger sister. Angeline Fowl's maid. Training to be a......well the next Butler, but she loves Wrestling.

Julius Root- Holly's boss. Commander at Recon. Nickname: Beetroot. Always seems to be yelling at someone.

Foaly- Tech wiz at the LEP. Without him, the People's security system would be a few tin cans and a dog. Paranoid and underappreciated (and sarcastic).

Mulch Diggums- Kleptomaniac dwarf. Keeps on the shadowy side of the law, but often comes in to save the hides of the LEP. Has er....unique tunneling abilities as well as the general dwarf features (luminescent saliva, etc.)
