After Crowfeather and Leafpool ran away and came back because ThunderClan was being attacked by a clan of badgers. They went their separate ways as Leafpool realised she needed to stay and be a medicine cat for her clan because Cinderheart died. Crowfeather took Nightcloud as a mate because he was being called disloyal. Having a Nightcloud as a mate (He doesn't like her.) to prove to his clan he was loyal.
