A Balrog of Morgoth that had lived in the mines for many years. He defeats a balrog in the Mines of Moria.
Balrogs are fictional characters in the story The Lord of the Rings. Just over 1000 years before The Fellowship of the Ring Dwarf King Durin VI is killed by a Balrog, and it earns the name Durin's Bane. Then Gandalf is forced to battle Durin's Bane in the mines of Khazad-dum (Moria), he and the balrog are both killed a few days later though Gandalf is sent back to Middle-earth as Gandalf the White. .
Gandalf certainly played a key role in the Battle for Helm's Deep. While the Dike, along with the Wall and the Keep were being defended by Theoden, Eomer, and Aragorn, Gandalf was busy rounding up the men of Rohan that had been scattered after the Battle of the Fords of Isen. This included the leader of the men of the Westfold, Erkenbrand. Gandalf led Erkenbrand along with a thousand men on foot to the Helm's Deep, where they cut off Saruman's forces. Gandalf also brought with him, a little more indirectly, Huorns from Isengard and Fangorn. Gandalf also went to Isengard to ask for help from Treebeard. Due to this, Treebeard sent hundreds of Huorns to Helm's Deep. They completely annihilated the orcs, and the Men of Dunland surrendered.

Elvish word for friend is mellon.
To my knowledge there is not anyone who said those words, though Gandalf said "You shall not pass" in the first movie "The Fellowship of the Ring" while attempting to defeat the Balrog in Moria. The Black Knight in Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail uses that phrase.

When Gandalf uses the Word of Power, it kills most/all of the enemies within a certain distance of him.
I am not sure what you mean. There is not a "Mines of Moria" level in Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO), but there is an area called Moria. As far as corridors, Moria is full of corridors, so I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific as to what you mean.
