Albus Dumbledore left Ron Weasley the deluminator. This device was invented by Dumbledore himself. It's main purpose was taking light, storing light and returning light.
He did this to partly to make sure they'd always have light, but because he suspected that Ron might leave and more importantly - that he'd want to come back.

∙ 13y agoSirius Black had no career after graduating Hogwarts, because he was taken to Azkaban (the wizarding prison). After he escaped, he was forced into hiding, and therefore could never hold down a job, seeing as he was a wanted criminal.
