What did Winky claim at the Quidditch World Cup?

Winky was sitting on a seat in the top box, near Harry, Hermione and the Weasley's. She told them that she was saving a seat for her master, Barty Crouch Sr. In reality, Barty Crouch Jr was sitting on that seat under the invisibility cloak. While there, he stole Harry's wand from his back pocket. Winky, who was hiding her eyes as she was terrified of heights, failed to notice this.

During the riot started by the death eaters, Barty Crouch Jr used the stolen wand to cast the dark mark. Prompting the arrival of ministry wizards who immediately sent stunning spells, which hit Barty & Winky. Of course, Barty was still concealed under the invisibility cloak so only WInky and the wand were found, and so Winky was blamed for casting the dark mark. Winky claimed she didn't know to do such a thing, but Barty Crouch Sr released her from service in order to save face.
