What did the Dwarfs do in the Lord of the Rings?

Hobbits are small half sized humans that exist only in stories. Most of them have either think brown hair or thick red hair. They have no need for shoes because they have natural "leather padded" feet. They enjoy bright colors on their clothing, including yellow, and green. Eating is something that is really important to the Hobbits. It is a regular routine.

His real challenge is to bear the ring without giving in to its temptation. Sam is Frodo's gardener and his closest friend. Sam vows to stay with Frodo at all times throughout the journey making him a true friend. Sam himself makes it possible for Frodo to carry on. Sam is loyal as well as pure and this purity helps him resist the powers of the ring. Merry is one of Frodo's cousins as well as Best friends. Merry is often described as the most intelligent and perceptive of the four Hobbits. He is one of Frodo's closest friends and fights bravely throughout the entire journey. Pippin is the comic-relief of the Fellowship. Clumsy and cheerful like a child his antics cause anger in Gandalf, who continuously calls Pippin a fool. Pippin and Merry are best friends, as well as cousins and are together throughout most of the journey. Pippin is kind, cheerful, clumsy, brave, and witty. These four Hobbits are major characters in the Fellowship and ultimately help in the goal of destroying the ring.

The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, is recruited by the wizard Gandalf and about a dozen dwarves to accompany them on a mission to regain a mountain formerly inhabited and mined by dwarves, that has been taken over by the dragon Smaug. On the way, Bilbo accidentally enters the cave of Gollum (who is also a hobbit but who has been very much altered by evil magic) and picks up The Ring when dropped by Gollum. Bilbo is, at this point, under the impression that it is just a magic invisibility ring. He does not discover until much later that it is actually Sauron's master ring. The band of adventurers runs into trolls, orcs, and goblins, has fights will all of these and is eventually rescued by giant eagles, but by the end of the movie has not yet reached their destination, the mountain.
