What do you do after beating silver trench in Pokemon?

After you have recruited Lugia (which requires that your party size only be up to two stars at the time your leader delivers the final blow), Xatu should show up at your Rescue Team base the next morning.

That is when Meteor Cave is opened for exploration. It's nineteen floors, and you can only go to the next floor when you defeat the Deoxys mirage on that floor (there's only one), at which point a stairway is opened. The twentieth floor is where you face Deoxys, and you have a -10% chance to recruit him, so I'd strongly recommend bringing a Friend Bow. Also, only your leader is allowed to enter, and, along with a held item, you only get to bring three items. Here are some things I'd recommend for doing this dungeon:

* X-Ray Specs - It'll allow you to track down the mirage and defeat it. It's essential.

* Huge Apple - You'll definitely need it for hunger.

* Reviver Seed - If you die, you get a second chance.

* Friend Bow - This is to recruit Deoxys. He most likely won't join on the first completion of the dungeon, and you'll probably have to try multiple times. If you're not interested in recruiting, just bring another Reviver Seed or something.

I held onto the X-Ray Specs and brought those items with me, and got through. However, there's also plenty of traps in here, especially PP-Zero and Sticky Traps, which could doom you since you only have three items. If you lose your X-Ray Specs, I'd just reset; it'll be hell otherwise. Also, the Deoxys mirages tend to go into watery areas and go around in circles, where you won't be able to get them unless you use a ranged move or can cross water.

After that, you can do whatever. Get your rank up, recruit more Pokemon, do some of the level 1 dungeons, etc.

After Meteor Cave and Western Cave, you're pretty much done.
