STORY MODE CHECKLIST-HOWLING FOREST

1-complete the 14 floors of howling forest 2 save smeargle.smeagle will tehn join your rescue team

2-complete at least 4 rescue JOBS

3-after the earthquake visit Pokemon square & watch as blastoise assembles a team to save alakazam's team

4-complete at least 2 more rescue JOBS

5-after waking to another earthquake return to Pokemon square to hear blastoise's report. agree to take on the mission and tell your partner when your ready to leave you will then be able to travel to MAGMA CAVERN...

I could not find this answer anywhere! Then I realized that it was simple. Once you beat the game, you get Solar Cave! (If it's not there after you beat the game then it's there after you go to the Stormy Sea dungeon).

There is no real technique to use, besides a cunning mind, nimble fingers, and an Action Replay chip. Also, sometimes you can glitch the Nintendo by randomly and quickly clicking the movement buttons so that by pure chance you end up crossing over the barrier. You may ruin the DS by doing such but it is all worth it when you unlock the Magma Cavern in the Mystery Dungeon.

This trick only works for Pokemon Diamond, Platinum and the silver one.
