Well it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to train battle every gym trainer,heal your Pokemon,come back, and beat the gym leader.If you want to avoid trainers you will almost always have to battle a trainer plan out your trainer path using an interney chart or your own skills. I personally like to battle everyone if I have a Pokemon that can crush the trainer's type.
