Albus Dumbledore tells Harry that "death is but the next great adventure". He says this because Harry cannot understand why Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel made the decision to destroy the philosopher's stone as it meant they would die. Dumbledore explains that when you have lived as long as them, death isn't to be feared.
