∙ 8y agoIn the book, nothing happens. Mr Ollivander gives Harry Potter several wands and then tells him to wave them, but always pulled the wand out of his hand pretty much instantly.
In the movie, Harry is given two wands before he is successful. When waved, the first wand sends shelves of wands flying through the air. The second wand breaks a vase.
