Basically, you go to the day care service center and talk to the man/woman. He/she will ask you if you want them to raise your Pokemon. You can raise two Pokemon at a time on Diamond/Pearl one at a time on Fire Red/ Leaf Green.

∙ 12y agogive the daycare people a male and a female pokemon, or give them a pokemon and a ditto, it will be that pokemon, walk around for a a while and then talk to the woman outside, she will have an egg for you! Hope i helped!

∙ 12y agoYou are allowed to put up to 2 Pokemon in the daycare and throughout your gameplay (until you take them out of the daycare) they will level up. You could also occasionally get an egg
