Some can be had for under $50. Some of the more expensive ones are several hundred per plate. There is a large variety online, and you can compare and shop for hours. What they are worth for resale depends on the maker and how many were made to begin with. I have one that I bought around the time of his death in 1979. I think it's a Franklin Mint and it's resale value is about $100 at present.

I am the owner of all four figurines that were available in 1983 and I have not had much luck finding out that answer as well. I purchased my collection from two sources in 1988 and have recently decided to look into selling them. After doing research I have found that I paid more to acquire them then what they are currently selling for now. I found some information on marymarilyn.tripod.com and they are saying that the resale is about $200.00 for each figurine. Although over the years I have been searching e-bay and have found that there are only a few figurines offered to bid on. SO it really depends on the figurine and the numbers. I have only seen offered "Gentlemen Prefer Blonde's and Niagara Never have I seen "7 Year Itch" or "How to Marry a Millionaire". Key factors to the price are also original box, packaging, paperwork, condition, and number of the figurine. If you have it all I say that you stand the chance to make some money! I am hoping with the offer of all four that I have to sale, I can save all the steps for them searching to complete the set. Best of luck!
