I read the comics from the '80s and saw a few cartoon episodes.
Tamaran natives believe in love and are ruled by their emotions. They're not the types who reason things out.
Princess Koriand'r, who became Starfire
Good question! Sadly, Superman can't go there or he'll lose his powers.
Tariya and Princess Koriand'r were civil friends. Tariya was Prince Karras's true love, but he couldn't marry her because his parents and Princess Koriand'r's parents were royalty in different parts of their planet Tamaran. Their planet was at war, and Prince Karras's father would only agree to peace by a joint ruling by BOTH families. Prince Karras and Princess Koriand'r were forced to marry each other. After their wedding, Komand'r, Princess Koriand'r's evil older sister, took over Tamaran, and Koriand'r eventually returned to earth. She returned to Tamaran when another war struck. Before Prince Karras died in the war, he told Koriand'r and Tariya he loved them both, but in different ways. 1. Koriand'r was a loving, caring and beautiful person - inside and out. 2. Tariya was his soul and his life - and he was also pregnant with his child.
Yes, aboriginal tribes in places like Australia and the people that live in tree houses in Costa Rica. I believe they're called Finca Bellavista; look them up, they are amazing. Of course no place will glow like Pandora...unfortunately..

It doesn't. It's a separate star system called Vega, and Tamaran is the 8th planet.
You have to be born on planet Tamaran.

Starfire's real name is Koriand'r. She is a princess from the planet Tamaran.
She comes from the planet Tamaran, the 8th planet in the Vegan System. Her people dress that way, and are highly passionate and sexual by nature.
As a child, his name was Mythus, and the Citadel wanted his mother, Queen Talathus as a slave to save Tamaran. His father, King Korithus said no and tried to fight them, but he was killed. His 2 brothers, Scrithus and Korthus, tried to fight them and were killed, too. Queen Talathus became convinced that her life could have saved her planet and family, so she told her son, Mythus: "You will be ruler, Mythus. This planet comes under your protection. We are to serve Tamaran, to sacrifice for her good. Remember that, Mythus, whatever we must do to keep peace, do it. Whatever sacrifices we must make, make them. Tamaran comes before all." That's why, when he became King Myand'r, to save Tamaran, he gave his daughter, Princess Koriand'r to the Citadel and then forced her to marry Prince Karras. His final sacrifice was when he he and his wife, Queen Luand'r sacrificed their lives staying on Tamaran during a war that eventually destroyed their entire planet.
Tamaran.
Shinbo = patience, Tamaran = unendurable/unbearable.
