In the last Pokémon episode that aired on May 8, 2010, Ash and his friends Brock and Dawn meet Grandma Wilma, a trainer who specializes in teaching Dragon Pokémon the move of Draco Meteor. Ash, Dawn and Brock all befriend a wild Gible that lives in the nearby forest. Team Rocket kidnaps Grandma Wilma's Altaria however Ash and his friends are able to retrieve it. Gible uses Draco Meteor to send Team Rocket blasting off again however Gible is still having issues mastering Draco Meteor. Ash, Dawn and Brock leave and Gible begins to follow them.
