God answered Esthers prayer. When the king saw Esther standing in the court, she obtained favour in his sight and he granted that her request be given to her even the half of the kingdom. Esther requested that her life and the life of her people be given at her petition. This is the request that Esther made to God as she fasted and prayed and God saw to it that it happened.
