He lost an ear during the fight over Little Whinging. Snape was aiming for a Death Eater when he cast the Sectumsempra spell which was meant to cut off said Death Eaters hand. However he missed and hit George's ear instead.

Harry Potter married Ginny Weasley (Ginny became a Quidditch player in the Holyhead Harpies), he became Head of Auror Office in the Ministry of Magic, and went to Hogwarts occassionaly to give lectures about Defence against the Dark Arts. Hermione went back to Hogwarts to finish her final year and after that, she took S.P.E.W. further, in the end working in the Ministry. Ron Weasley married Hermione Granger, and had two children with her: Hugo and Rose Weasley. At first he worked as an Auror. When Kingsley Shacklebolt became minister, he allowed everyone who fought in the Battle of Hogwarts to become an Auror. However, Ron quit being an Auror and worked in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes along side his brother George. Neville Longbottom became a Herbology professor at Hogwarts and married Hannah Abbott, who became landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. Luna Lovegood became a Wizarding Naturalist and had two twin boys (Lorcan and Lysander) with her husband Rolf Scamander. Cho Chang married a muggle. Rubeus Hagrid still kept working at Hogwarts as game keeper and Care of Magical creatures professor.

Neville destroys the last horcrux (Nagini) with the sword of Godric Gryffindor making Voldemort a mortal man. Before this happens he is summoned by the portrait of Ariana Dumbledore to escort Harry, Ron, and Hermione to Hogwarts to find a horcrux.

In The Battle Of Hogwarts he is seen single-handely fighting Death Eaters at the beginning of the battle. It is later revealed in his later life he eventually marries Hanna Abbot, but has no children and becomes the professor for Herbology.
