When Dumbledore realizes that there are intruders in the Astronomy Tower, he immediately put a Stunning spell on the invisible Harry in order to hide him. When Snape kills Dumbledore, the spell binding Harry vanishes, making him sure of the fact that Dumbledore is dead.
When snape turns on Dumbledore (at least you think he does) at the very end of the book and kills him. He actually kills him but it is all part of a plan Dumbledore had in the 7th book
He dies in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (book 6). I don't mean to spoil it for anyone, but Severus Snape kills him because Draco Malfoy couldn't and that meant he would get the Elder Wand, not Dumbledore.

Ron kills the lord of darkness rite after Draco killed harry.
*SPOILER ALERT* Voldemort kills Harry, but he {Harry} comes back to life. It is unknown how Harry officially dies, but probably from natural causes. Harry Potter does not die in the books. He is hit with the killing curse and travels into death (just speculation) talks with Dumbledore, and comes back.

Although Dumbledore died in the Half-Blood Prince, he returns in the Deathly Hallows when after Voldemort kills Harry Potter, and comes to him, giving him a choice to "move on" or come back and fight.
