It is unknown which house Cornelius Fudge was from, as it was never stated in the novels or movies.

If I had to guess which house he was from, I would guess "Slytherin", and here is why:

1. He does not appear to qualify as a Ravenclaw since members of this house are characterized by their intelligence and cleverness, and he appeared very slow at times, especially when it came to him figuring out that Voldemort was "back".

2. He does not appear to qualify as a Gryffindor since members of this house are characterized by their courage and chivalry. and he seemed exceptionally afraid of Voldemort.

3. Hufflepuff? This was a close call. Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses, valuing hard work, patience, friendship and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members.

4. Slytherin? This was a close call too. But, I am going to go with it. He may not have the cunning, but he has ambition - rising all the way up to Minister of Magic. And he also seemed to be a bit too fond of purebloods like the Malfoys.
