What if you cougth Cresselia before you met Darkrai could you still find Darkrai?

Yes, if you catch Cresselia before you find Darkrai that's fine. To find Darkrai, you need action replay. That will help you walk on water. Go to Full Moon Island and walk off the side. It will say Mystery Zone but keep walking. Soon you will reach a little island, it will say New Moon Island. There is a little grove of trees, go into it just like you caught Cresselia. Now you should see a big puddle of water and in the middle, a weird black like Pokémon. This Pokémon is Darkrai. You could always use the Jubilife City tweaking glitch to get Darkrai without Action Replay though or you could wait for the Nintendo event which will either give out Darkrai itself or the Member's Card.

I believe that every Pokemon is REAL in their own sense. Like, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. They COULD be real, we just can't get to where they would be because our current technology wouldn't allow us there. They never did say HOW CLOSE the Darkrai needed to be in order to give you nightmares... but I believe that he exists... you just gotta look harder... and pray you don't fall asleep, or he'll do something you'll regret...

Where can you find a shiny Cresselia?
you have the same chance of catching a shiny cresselia as you do do of catching a regular shiny Pokemon. If you do want one, you ll have to restart your game a ton until you find one (NOTE you might want to have a master ball on hand too)
