Well, in the ending of chapter 13, Rue points out a tracker jacker nest above Katniss, (Chapter 14) But because the "careers" were under the tree she was sleeping in, she couldn't escape so she cut the branch off, causing her to get stung in 3 different places ( her leg, cheek, and neck) mean while the nest of the wasps bursted open releasing them and stinging all of them... From one of the girls how got killed by the venom, Katniss noticed a bow and arrow and took it, but she experiences hallucinations of her getting practically eaten alive by ants...
