Pokémon Origins (Pocket Monsters The Origin) was an anime mini series that was based on the original Gameboy games of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue for most of the world except for Japan in which their original games were Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. Pokémon Origins was split up into 4 chapters as Red and Blue had traveled the region, catching Pokémon, collecting Pokémon data for Professor Oak and beating the 8 Gym Leaders as well as Team Rocket's Boss; Giovanni and then he defeats the four Elite 4 trainers; Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha and Lance and then defeated the new Champion; Blue and the last chapter involved Red trying to catch Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave.
