It's a ring. Zach wears it in the HSM2 the movie. Watch the movie and you'll SEE it. Weird part is she doesn't have one... He wears a ring in HSM2 the movie, but Vanessa doesn't. The ring is a class ring I believe. Both Zach and Vanessa have matching rings with inceptions on them. When the two were first seen wearing the rings, the rings were on the same finger on the same hand.
