A goddaughter is someone whose momhas a really good friend that loves the girl just as much as her mom and knows that that person would never try to hurt her.
Goddaughter is a term that is given to a little girl on the day of her baptism. Usually the person picks two godparents which then makes the girl their goddaughter.
