My favourite deck to use against any deck is a 40 card deck with 3 Heart of the Underdog, the five pieces of Exodia, and 32 other normal monsters. You are guaranteed to win the duel in like three or four turns. I won the 1999 world championships with the same deck I just tipped you.

I would suggest putting a Skilled White Magician in there somewhere, and maybe a Dark Magician... Also put in the Trap Card the Spell Absorbing Life.
Well there are a lot of ways to make excellent decks in Yu-Gi-Oh; you can make an arch-type deck, you can make a same attribute or type deck, or even just a deck of monsters with similar effects. The most important guideline for making decks in Yu-Gi-Oh is to have cards that cover everything.
