I have a lot of high level Pokemon that i switch in and out of the PC:

lv.91 Rhyperior
Just keep battling the elite four and giving lower level Pokemon an exp share.

Note why have croconaw when you can have Feraligator?
And actually best is Lugia Entei Feraligator Gyrados Espeon and Pidgeot
those are good Pokemon but my team never got beat this is what i have magmorter, electivire ho oh, dusknoir, feraligatr, arceus, and giritina. they have speed, power, hp, defense, sp attack, and sp defense.

∙ 13y agoA good team would be one with diffrent types in it to balance the team.Also be sure to make them learn a diffrent types of moves so that you can Kick anyones ass.

∙ 12y agoIt is difficult to say what is or is not a good team. Obviously there are teams that are complete and utter fail, but good teams are very wide in variety!
The team that I'm playing with right now consists of: Blissey (best wall Pokemon hands down), Metagross, Gengar, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Bronzong. It is a good team, though I am never content with any team that I make for long. Every team has it's strengths and weaknesses, this one is certainly no exception.
The best research you can do into building a team will be at the competitive Pokemon's official site: Smogon.com ; There you can find this list http://www.smogon.com/dp/Pokemon/ (D/P is also the official list for HG/SS)
They are organized into Uber (not allowed for competitive play - hence why my team isn't Arceus, Deoxys-A, Dialga, Kyogre, Wobbuffet (surprisingly the most UBER Pokemon if used right), and Mewtwo), OU (over used), BL (borderline), UU (under used), NU (never used), Limbo (no Pokemon are currently in this category, but it is normally crowded when new generations are made), and NFE (not fully evolved).
The website contains TONS of valuable competition information, guides on strategy building for teams, different builds for all the Pokemon, and even a battle simulator for you to test out your team against others before working at in in game.

∙ 14y agothee isn't rly one but if ur looking for a starter there's chikorita it won't help you very well because it is rubbo against gyms in johto then tyhere's cyndaquil that is rly good against most gyms then thees totodile where when it gets to lvl 20 (as a totodile) it will learn icefang but if you decide to evolve it at lvl 18 then it will learn it at lvl 21 hope this he,lped

∙ 11y agoOn bulbapedia.com you have a huge selection of pokemon to see. Choose any pokemon you want and it will tell you its statistical average by adding up all the base stats. Like a jigglypuff is 270 average while a celeby is a 500
