A Mutant Neopet is a Neopet affected by a Transmogrification Potion, which turns a Neopet in a Mutant of the respective species of the potion. You can only get a Transmogrification Potion via a Random Event where Dr. Sloth gives you a randomly picked Transmogrification Potion.

∙ 14y agoWell, the first time TNT had Mutant Day, everyone's pets in Neopia TURNED MUTANT (for the day). But they probably won't do that again as they haven't had it in years. But, if we try hard on the neoboards, we could get TNT to do it again. ;) Many people were disgraced at this joke that TNT had played on Neopia but, hey, everyone needs a good laugh once in a while. I, personally, want that to happen again this year (it's August 15, 2009 right now, Mutant Day is the 25) because I think it would be AWESOME for everyone's pets to turn Mutant all of a sudden. They should have this for every color day! I mean, it's not permanent so why would everyone get so upset? It's only for 24 hours! Anyway, besides the joke, on normal Mutant Days, it's pretty boring, usually new pets come out with the color Mutant, there's new Mutant plushies, stuff mutant themed to eat, Mutant themed Fun Images, and Mutant Themed shopkeepers. Really, nothing exciting. I really think that if enough people ask TNT to have the joke again, I believe it could happen! I'm gonna tell TNT right now. So don't be surprised if all of your pets suddenly turn Mutant on August 25!! Sorry for the long comment *smiles sheepishly*. Anyway, I hope that helps. =]
