What is a one paragraph summary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone?

The exposition takes place in the first few chapters where we are introduced to the characters and the wizarding world. The rising action then begins after Harry is sorted into Gryffindor where he starts to learn about the trapdoor and philosopher's stone.

The climax is when Harry, Ron and Hermione go down the trapdoor to face Professor Quirrell and Lord Voldemort. The falling action then takes place in the hospital wing where he is talking to Albus Dumbledore. The denouement is the final feast and boarding the train back to Hogwarts.

Harry thought he was a normal boy until Hagrid arrives and tells him that he is a wizard who has been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He learns that his parents were killed by an dark wizard called Lord Voldemort and that he is the only person known to have survived the killing curse. Harry sets off to Hogwarts where he soon befriends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Then Harry learns of a plan to steal the Philosopher's Stone and bring Voldemort back. With the help of his friends Harry manages to save the Stone - delayed Voldemort's return.
