After Bianca di Angelo dies, they find a truck nearby and Thalia drives upstream. They find a canoe place and borrow 2 canoes. Percy gets 2 naiads to help them use the canoes. Zoe feels it was her fault Bianca died, saying she pushed her into the quest , and that she should have insisted on going with Artemis. Prcy does not blame her however. Percy finds out that it was Zoe who created Riptide ( his sword / pen) . They end up near a place called Water Dam, and end up going sighteeing here. Percy and Grover hear a cow and Percy discovers it is his friend Bessie ( the cow/serpant he rescued). Skeletons are on their trail so Percy has to run! He races into the nearest lift, where a woman is giving a tour guide. She tell him that there always a way out for those clever enough to find it. He reckons that it was Athena, Annabeth's mother. He accidently slices at a morta girl, thinking she was a skeleton. She can see through the mist, and saves him from the skeletons by pointing them in the wrong direction! He finds the rest of the group whilst they're getting burritos, but then the skeletons come. Grover lobs his burrito at the nearest skeleton, and knocks its head lean off! Kids all around start a massive food fight, so they are safe for now. They see two statues dedicated to Zeus, and tells Thalia to pray to her father. The statues protect them, and soon they are flying over san fransisco. When there, Percy has to look for the old man of the sea. He finds him and asks im what is the monster Artemis seeks. He points at Bessie! Dr Thorn then ambushes them. He says Thalia should join Luke. Dionysus rescues the heroes from Thorn. He says that Zoe knows where they need to go next . " Ilooked at Zoe. " What did he mean " the huntress knows"?" " The garden of my sisters," she said " I must go home"

In THE LIGHTNING THIEF, he's 12. THE SEA OF MONSTERS, 13. THE TITANS CURSE(which I'm currently on), 14. THE BATTLE OF THE LABYRINTH, still 14. THE LAST OLYMPIAN, 15-16. He turns 16 at the end of THE LAST OLYMPIAN.
In chapter 14 of "The Lightning Thief," Clarisse is surprised to see Percy because she had expected him to be a typical, unremarkable camper at Camp Half-Blood, especially given his reputation as an outsider. Percy's unexpected bravery and the events surrounding him, including his encounters with monsters and other demigods, set him apart, making him stand out in a way she didn't anticipate. Clarisse's surprise reflects her recognition of Percy's potential and the unfolding of his heroic journey.
He is 13 years old. I'm pretty sure it says it right on the back cover of the book. -- He's actually 12 in the Lightning Theif. (13 in the second book, 14 and then turns 15 at the end of the fourth book, and 15 and then turns 16 in the last book.)
Annabeth was born in 1993. She's seven years old when she runs away from home Twelve years old when she meets Percy (in the Lightning Thief) And by the end of the series (The Last Olympian) she in 16 and a half. Same age as Percy, 17 because last year was 2009 so she was 16 then and 17 now.
Of what book? There are 7.
Chapter 14 of "The Lightning Thief" makes several allusions to Greek mythology, such as the mention of Daedalus and Icarus when Percy and his friends navigate the Labyrinth. The characters also encounter the river Lethe, which is referenced in Greek mythology as the river of forgetfulness. Additionally, there are allusions to Harry Potter with references to Hagrid and Hermione during their visit to Medusa's garden.
