It depends on what sort of damage you want to be doing. Using the ball of your foot will cause more damage than using the back. However unless you have pristine technique this can be hard to achieve as movability with the leg to hit your targeted spot would be harder using the ball of your foot due to smaller surface area. Pseudo podium (false foot).
Protists, which are a microscopic group of organisms, may have flagella or cilia so they are able to move. They also have a false foot, and contain mitochondria.
Amoebas move by changing the shape of their body, forming pseudopods (temporary foot-like structures). The word pseudopod means "false foot."
1. Flagella (long hairlike projections) 2. Cilia (Tiny hairlike projections) 3. Amoeba (ameboid movement by pseudopods, which means "false foot")
Becuase sarcodines use pseudopods to move, ( pseudopod is false foot) this tell us that it is in the phylum rhizopoda. Don't worry. This answer is gaurenteed right because i am doing this project with microscopes and protists.
True and false. You can pivot with both feet, but not at the same time. For instance, you could be driving towards the basket and then stop on your right foot, using that pivot foot. On the next possession, you may stop on your left foot, using that as your pivot foot. However, you may not start using one pivot foot and switch to the other at one time. That is traveling.
Well the basic moves: When you jab with one foot and go the other way using the outside of your foot, swing your foot over the ball and go the other way, pretend your shooting and swing your leg but just roll the ball forward a little.
pseudopod pseduo meaning false pod meaning foot
Moves by creeping along on a broad foot.
False leg or a False Foot
three ways protozoans move are cilia, pushing out part of their bodys called pseudopod, and flagella.
Amoebas move using psuedopodia (which means "false feet") and feed by phagocytosis- by englufing solid food through their cell membrane by use of internal food vacuole. Pseudopods are used to find food
