newton's first law is not breakable. so... yes it is valid during takeoff
FastPasses are free, as long as you have your ticket or Anual Pass. You just have to find the machines (they`re located right next to the ride) and stick your ticket/Anual Pass in. A FastPass will pop out. Then you just come back at the time on the FastPass and the cast members will put you in the FastPass line, which is much shorter. The ticket/Anual Pass has to be the one you used to get into the park, though. If you use one from, say, a week before, the ticket will no longer be valid and you wont get a FastPass. The same goes for Anual Passes that need to be renewed.

Airside was created in 1998.
I have one as I work in an Airport. Basically it is your Airport Staff I.D badge. It has a chip in so it lets you get to restricted areas of the airport and also beyond security to duty free and boarding gates e.t.c. Having an airside pass lets you go to these places without being a passenger and having a boarding card.
The airside of an airport refers to areas after immigration (meaning transit) while landside refers to the areas before immigration (meaning public areas)
by going to Disneyland and buying a pass. it must be valid.:-)
