"Apotheke" is a German term that translates to "pharmacy" in English. It refers to a place where medications are dispensed, and pharmaceutical care is provided. In addition to filling prescriptions, apothekes often offer health consultations, over-the-counter medications, and various health-related products. The concept of an apotheke dates back to historical practices of herbal medicine and compounding.

As best as I can research it, apotheke in Ancient Greek means "storehouse." Apothecary came to mean, through tranisitions and additions of meaning from the Greek through various stages of Latin to Middle English) to mean "drugstore" today. This question would be a great research question for a linguist student!!!
"Boutique" is a French word. Originally it comes from Latin (apotheca: storehouse, depot), which also gave apotheke (German), botiga (Occitan), or bottega (Italian).

it can be traced back thru french to troubadour provencal to classical latin to ancient greek where its original form apotheke meant storehouse or a place where things are put away & this came from 2 smaller notions meaning put & away you can see the same idea as bodega & also apothecary boutiques didnt become fashion shops til 1953 or shops at all til 1767 but first the storehouse keeper had to become a shopkeeper or a storekeeper as we say which happened in 1366
