Danganronpa ('win an argument with a bullet') is a murder mystery visual novel game first released on PSP. The story is set in a prestigious academy for exceptionally skilled students 'Ultimates', each an expert in their chosen skill. 15 students find themselves locked in the school, every exit sealed, by a sadistic remote-controlled bear named Monokuma. Monokuma says that the only way to escape is to kill another student, but after a murder, a trial will be held for the students to deduce who the killer was. If the killer is chosen, then they will be executed. If the wrong person is chosen, all the innocents die and the killer goes free.
