I like any sort of fanfiction that really shows the characters exactly the way they were in the original work. The fun for me is seeing the characters I am used to in new situations, and I don't like having the characters changed around so they're different from what I expect. I also like writing slash fiction if the characters in the original work seem to have those sorts of feelings for one another.
