Flat fade margin refers to a design specification in wireless communication systems that defines the acceptable range of signal strength variation (or fading) over a given area. It ensures that the signal remains above a minimum threshold, maintaining reliable communication despite environmental factors that can cause signal degradation. A flat fade margin indicates that the system is designed to handle consistent fading across the coverage area, rather than sharp fluctuations, which can improve overall performance and user experience.
The Fade was created in 2007.
Until the Voices Fade... was created in 1999.

In an analog microwave radio system, the flat fade margin is equal to the system total Gains minus system total losses In a digital microwave radio system, the "flat" or thermal fade margin (TFM) is calculated from the system total Gains minus system total losses.
Link margin is the system design concern to the communication link and does not concern the only feed system of communication link, fade margin is particularly concern with the feed system of communication link.
When writing a film script, the first words in the script are fade-in, in all caps and positioned at the left margin.
Surrounded by a distinct margin. I.e it does not gradually fade away.
Thermal fade margin TFM in db is the difference between the normal received signal RSL at the input of microwave receiver expressed in dbm and the receiver's threshold ( given by the manufacturer) expressed in dbm TFM = RSL - TH
Fade margin refers to the difference between the actual received signal strength and the minimum signal strength required for reliable communication. It provides a buffer against signal degradation due to various factors such as distance, obstacles, and atmospheric conditions. A higher fade margin indicates a more robust communication link, ensuring that the signal remains usable even when conditions change. It is commonly used in telecommunications and satellite communications to assess system performance and reliability.

Just open the link below.. http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/16/sysreq/contributions/80216sc-99_13.pdf the explanation is very good !!
No! probably not because that was a 80's slash early 90's era fade. And as you know fades come and go. So it couls happen, but not likely other styles will be coming into that people will want and soon the flat top fade will only be a mystery.
The region beyond the continental margin is called the abyssal plain. It is a flat, sediment-covered area of the ocean floor that lies between the continental margin and the mid-ocean ridges. The abyssal plain is characterized by low temperatures, high pressures, and a lack of significant geological features.
The continental margin consists of the continental shelf, continental slope, and continental rise. One feature that is not part of the continental margin is the abyssal plain, which lies deeper in the ocean and beyond the continental rise. The abyssal plain represents the flat, deep-sea floor that extends across the ocean basins, while the continental margin is specifically associated with the transition from land to ocean.
