If you are referring to the rehoming fee requested by some people when gining away a pet that is a one time only fee. If they request more than about $50.00 that is not a rehoming fee, you are purchasing the animal
typically just once when you aquire the animal
no if you check at a petstore i am sure you will find one . thanks
Dogs Trust is a canine rehoming/rescue centre which is funded entirely by donations.
try the vets notice board on benbecular, there were lots of dogs needing homes on it when we were there,
You could ask for a rehoming fee under pets on a website called www.craigslist.com or there is another website, www.kijiji.com and you could also put an ad in the paper...or reconsider selling your guinea pig:)
Uncountable amouts. Their work is amazing, and I wish I lived near a centre. Rehoming a horse or pony, or fundraising is a great way to help.
In the Humane Society, there isn't a time were animals have been there for "too" long. SO the answer is nothing happens. The animals stay til rehoming point.
is their a fee
will there be a fee?
Fee reimbursement is the price of the fee returned to you.
Likely, no where. There is a push from animal welfare groups to charge a "rehoming fee" for even mongrel pups. Free pups are more likely to be adopted on impulse, and thus often end up abused, neglected or abandoned when the novelty wears off. Free pups are also likely to be taken in by flippers who turn around and sell the puppy for a profit. Best scenario is to find a puppy that's had shots and dewormer, and has an adoption fee to reflect the cost of the vet care the puppy has received. If you can't afford to pay for a pup that's had some vet care, you can't afford the vet care either.
