When Harry, Ron, and Hermione go down the trapdoor to try to prevent Snape (who actually ends up being Quirrell) from getting the Philosopher's Stone, and Harry meets Lord Voldemort.

The dogs wake up and try to bite them but they fall into a dugeon full of Devil's snare, (a slimy green-like plant that raps around objects.) They soon escape as Hermione who went down last noticed that the plant was trapping them and freed herself before she was captured, she then remembers that Devil's Snare hates sunlight and so casts a spell that burns the Devil's Snare. They then go into a room full of Dragon Fly key-like bugs and the three of them under Harry's direction help capture the key that will unlock the door. Next they go into a room full of giant Chess pieces on a chess board. They take the place of some pieces and the only way to win is for Ron to sacrifice himself, which knock him out. Harry and Hermione carry on and find a chamber with a troll in it which has already been knocked out, they then find a room filled with potions and a riddle which Hermione solves. However there is only enough potion to allow one of them to go forward. Hermione goes back, gets Ron and then goes to find Dumbledore. Harry goes to the next room and finds Professor Quirrell looking at the Mirror of Erised and talking to himself. Harry is forced to look in the mirror where he sees himself putting the stone in his pocket, once his 'reflection' has put it in his pocket Harry feels the stone in his actual pocket but he tries to lie and say he can't find it. Quirrell unravels his turban and a head which is Voldemort comes out. His trys to convince Harry that he should be on his side, but Harry refuses and Quirrell fly over choking Harry, but Harry touches him and he burns to death. Harry passes out and wakes up in the nurses hospital wing. He reunites with Dumbledore and his friend and Hogwarts.
