Harry Potter is a story of an "ordinary" boy who lost both his parents in what he was told was a car accident. His parents were actually killed by a dark wizard called Lord Voldemort, better known as You-Know-Who. Voldemort also tried to kill Harry but failed, leaving Harry the only person ever to survive the Killing Curse and destroying Voldemort in the process. The seven books are about Harry, who discovers he is a wizard, battling Voldemort to defeat him once and for all.
