What is the best Pokemon to use a master ball on?

Palkia. Yeah, there's other ways to catch it, but most people use the masterball on the focus of the Pokemon game(Palkia in Pearl, Dialga in Diamond, Giratina in Platinum)to advance through the story faster

i would just say hold on to something as precious a Master Ball. Save before you encounter any legendaries! Try ultra balls as much as you can bear and you should be able to catch some legendary Pokemon with that. But for example MewTwo..that's REALLY hard to catch.. So it really comes down to..

HAVE YOU TRIED ULTRA BALLS?

DO YOU DESPERATELY CARE CAUSE YOU SHOULD IT'S LEGENDARY

also i would like to mention that all legendaries can be caught with ultra balls the only legendaries that are worth a master ball is the ones that run away, right away

Use it on a high level legendary found later in the game(Heatran, Dialga, Palkia) or on one of the roaming pokemon(Cresselia, Mesprit, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno). Do NOT use it on Giratina, Uxie, or Azelf.

the best Pokemon to use the master ball on is latios or latias because even when you are battling them they can leave the battle and disappear. So use the master ball on one of these two before they disappear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you should use it on the legendary Pokemon because they're the hardest Pokemon to catch and you only have 1 chance 2 battle them

I think that you should use it on legendary Pokemon that teleport or can escape from you
