Blastoise

Butterfree

Nidoqueen

Wigglytuff

Electrode

Dugtrio

and @ the guy who answered before me, half the pokemon you mentioned aren't even in firered

pidgeot blastoise nidoking arcanine
Its simple math really if you calculate it Ps. no starters. in this team

Kingdra

ninetails

eggexcutor

gengar (have to trade to get)

dragonite

golem (have to trade to get)

If you cant trade for golem get sandslash

If you cant trade for gengar get haunter (if haunter is to noob get snorelax insted!!)

Charizard

Vaporean

Alakazam(trade kadbra to get)

Raichu

Dragonite

Nidoking or Nidoqueen
blastoise lv80 tyranitar lv80 arcanine lv80 zapdos lv80 dragonite lv80 and mewtoo lv80

Beedrill lv 50: Rock tomb, Twin needle, Aerial Ace, Toxic

Butterfree lv 50: Psychic, Wing Attack, Psybeam, Silver Wind

Jolteon lv 50: Thunder, Thunderbolt, Shock Wave, Dig

Blastoise lv 55: Ice Beam, Earthquake, Hydro Cannon, Surf

This team pwns the league.

After the league, replace Beedrill's Toxic with Sludge Bomb.

Then level up ten lvls on each pokemon.

Catch Mewtwo and a Parasect in Cerulean Cave. Teach Parasect Giga Drain and Solar Beam along with Sunny Day.

Return to the elite four and use Jolteon on Lorelei, Butterfree on Bruno, Butterfree on Agatha, and Blastoise on Lance. Parasect is also usefull against Lorelei and Beedrill is the best against your Rival.
Well my team, which is actually pretty good, and is composed of the original 6 pokemon I caught, is:

Blastoise(5;48)

Pidgeot(2;47)

Beedrill(3;48)

Raichu(3;58)

Nidoking(7;47)

Gyarados(5;48)

(Lvl caught/obtained;Lvl now)

P.s. This is not my first play through or else they would all be lvl 100, this is my about 60th~70th play through, I've had the game for 3 years, and this game I started 4 days ago lol

This was the first pokemon game I EVER played, so maybe these pokemon will help you out. Also i'm an anti legendary team. So if you like legendaries, don't bother looking at this.

Fire Type: If you didn't choose charmander as your starter; your best bet is with Growlithe. Train this pokemon to a decent level ( like around 30 ) then evolve it to an Arcanine via firestone. Or you can evolve an Eevee into a flareon also via firestone.

Water Type: If you didn't choose squirtle; you may want to go for a gyarados, which evolves from a magikarp at lvl 20. just fish one out in any body of water with an old rod. Or go for a vaporeon which evolves from an eevee via water stone.

Grass Type: If you didn't choose bulbasaur, then grass types are kind of a let down for you in this game.

Electric Type: Raichu is my personal favorite, get it by evolving a pikachu via thunderstone. Or evolve an eevee into a jolteon also via thunderstone.

Flying Type: Pidgey is most likely your best bet. Although, you can also go for a Dragonite. But we'll get to him later.

Fighting Type: Fighting types are pretty good in this game. You probably wanna go for a Machamp, but if you don't have access to trading, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are also very good fighting pokemon. They can be obtained in Saffron City.

Rock/Ground Type: Four pokemon come to mind. Golem, which evolves from a Graveler via trade, Tyranitar ( evolves from a pupitar but can only be obtained after beating the elite4 ) and Nidoking&Nidoqueen.

Psychic Type: Only one pokemon is good for this, Alakazam. But again if you have no access to trading stay from Psychic types entirely.

Dragon Type: Here's where it gets interesting, Dragonite is by far the best in this game. It is also the ONLY dragon type pokemon in the game. Although you can use dragonite as a flying type, he doesn't evolve from a dragonair until lvl 55. So you may still want to use a solid flying type until your dragonair has wings. You can get dragonite by evolving dratini into a dragonair. Dratini is found in the game corner ( forgot how much ) and also in the safari zone.

Ice Types: Dewgong is probably what you want to go for, it is found in the Seafoam Islands. Pretty sturdy ice type pokemon. Or you can get a Lapras ( which is what I recommend ) if I remember correctly you can get the Lapras in Silph Co or Icefall Cave.

Ghost Type: Gengar all the way! Again, if you don't have access to trading then just stay away from ghost types entirely.

Bug Type: Eh, bugs won't take you very far in this game. But if you want, you can go for Heracross, obtained after beating the elite four at Pattern Bush, or get a Scizor by trading a Scyther who is holding a Metal Coat ( scyther is only found in FIRERED in the safari zone) But avoid Scizor if you don't have access to trade.

Steel Type: Don't even bother for steel types, their basically useless. But again, if you want, Steelix ( evolves by trading an Onix holding a metal coat ) or Magneton.

I might have left out of few Pokemon types, but i think this is a solid guide. Choose wisely! Happy Playing!
