the best team is bulbasaur and cindaquil because cindaquil and bulbasaur both learn good moves early in the game, bulbasaur learns leach seed wich continualy damages the enemy and replenishes users health: alot better than absorb witch other grass types learn early. cyndaquil learns smoke screen witch makes the opponent a whiffer who misses with all attacks until recovered. this helps in boss battles with cyndy (cynaquil) making boss a whiffer and bulba (bulbasaur) planting a leech seed to drain health while other random attacks are used
A team full of Legendary Pokemon. What else did you expect?
Well, if your looking for a precise answer, you should start with the final form of your starter, either Emboar, Serperior or Samurott, its reccomended, however, that you go with either Samurott or Emboar. Here is an idea of the moveset for all of them you should have:
Emboar:
Fire Blast (competitve play), Flamethrower (any other situation)
Wild Charge (You will find this TM in Victory Road, and can help with your weakness water type)
Stone Edge (To take out the common flying weakness)
Hammer Arm (Move tutor w/ heart scale)
Seperior:
Leaf Blade
Aerial Ace (to take out the bug weakness)
Giga Drain
Wring Out (Great move to start battles with)
Samurott:
Ice Beam (to take out the grass weakness, Blizzard is too unreliable. competitive play) or Megahorn (Move tutor w/ heart scale, Elite Four)
Surf
Dig (to take out the electric weakness)
Hydro Pump
Now, Victini, Kyurem and Zekrom/Reshiram are all excellent choices for non-competitve play, however, due to their high base stats, they are banned from competitive play. So I will give out the rest of the list with 5 other Pokemon.
Landorus (you will need someone with your other version, but it is worth it for this Pokemon, if you can't get Landorus, then a Krookodile will work just fine, with Krookodile, use Outrage, crunch, Earthquake and Smack Down.) Here is the list for Landorus:
Fly
Earthquake
Smack Down (to bring down Pokemon with levitate, such as Eelectross.)
Hammer Arm (To take down the very potent Ice weakness, which does 4x to this Pokemon (learned at lvl 79.))
Volcarona (if you want a bug for first time around the Elite Four, then Scolipede):
Bug Buzz
Fire Blast
Wild Charge (to take out the weaknesses Flying and Water)
Psychic (competitive play), Quiver Dance (other situations)
Next you should get an electric type, Thundurus can be a great addition of you have white, but if not, then Eelektross should be your focus, as they can't be hit by ground moves due to levitate unless they get hit my smack down, here is the reccomened moveset:
Thunderbolt
Crunch
Brick Break
Flamethrower
Next you should have a Dark or Flying Pokemon, depending on whether you chose Landorus or Krookodile (if you have black, Mandibuzz can serve as both, and will only have flying weaknesses sinces its strengths counteract the weaknesses of Dark), if you have White, then Braviary can be a great choice, if you do not want either, then Archeops can be a great choice due to its very high attack. If you have both Thundurus and Landorus, however, then you should focus on a non-flying dark Pokemon, and Hydreigon is a great option. Due to all these choices, I can't focus on one's moveset, but all of them should have Fly at the very least.
Your final Pokemon should depend on your starter, if you chose Emboar, you may encounter difficulty with the ground type, so a Water Pokemon that can also learn ice moves is reccomended, Carracosta or Jellicent is reccomended, but Vanilluxe will also make a good addition to the team. if you chose Seperior or Samurott, then you should try to get a Fighting Pokemon, as there are a lot of different types that fighting can help for, especially normal types, as well as Ice, a weakness of Seperior. For a fighting Pokemon, Virizion is great if you chose Samurott, for Seperior, Terrakion and Mienshao are both great choices, again, due the vast amount of options here, I can't give a moveset for just one.
I know this is quite a bit, but I hope this helps, those Elite Four can be a pesky bunch (and some others as well)
Honestly, a team with all legendary Pokemon would just be overkill...
Well it depends, you could either name your team after its elements ex: treemud waterlightning. Or if you named your characters after animee people you could name your team after a group on that animee ex:I'm a piplup named sena and my partner is a shinx named Finn and my team name is tigeroids ( from tai chi chasers )
the best team is Chimchar, pikachu, piplup, turtwig, cyndaquil and magnezone.
