Technically, all the packs are equally the same with some ultra rares, secret rares, and so on. Sure, some may have a better probability of getting them, but there is no essential difference. It also depends on what kinda cards you're lookin for, so you ay like one pack a lot more than the other because of your wants. But there is no best.

∙ 15y agothe previous person probably didn't know what they were talking about. Boxes prefer on your preferences. I liked Phantom Darkness ( which, by the way, is guaranteed to have 2 ultra rares), bur Crossroads of Chaos is good for plant based decks. Check out Yugico.com- they have listings of all the cards and a very well set-up search engine.

Generally, if you want to pull a bunch of Synchros then you should for The Duelist Genesis (first choice) or Crossroads of Chaos (second choice).
One of the best packs is Phantom Darkness; because of cards like Dark Armed Dragon, Allure of Darkness, and the Yubel cards.
If you pull a holographic card in the 5D's packs, you will also get a Rare card. The older packs (such as Phantom Darkness, Light of Destruction, Labyrinth of Nightmare - or any pack WITHOUT the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's logo) will only contain ONE rare card - either a Rare or Holo.
The worst packs to buy are:
- Rise of Destiny
- Power of the Duelist
- Ancient Sanctuary, and
- Enemy of Justice
If you go to http://www.yugioh.wikia.com and search for the pack name (e.g. Phantom Darkness), you can find the cards that come in the set. Check to see if there are any cards in the set you want BEFORE buying the packs/boxes.
