In Pokemon gold, silver, and crystal, the chances are 1/8192. However, if bred correctly, the chance for an egg is 1/64.
In Generation III, most of the data structures were redone. As such, a Pokémon's shininess would no longer need to be linked to its stats due to incompatibilities between the Generation III games and previous generations. The determinant for shininess is instead a calculation based on the Trainer ID number of the player encountering it and the personality value of the Pokémon. The secret ID and trainer ID bytewords are first xored together, and then the first byteword of the personality value is xored with the second byteword of the personality value. If the xor of these two results is less than eight, then the Pokémon is shiny. This results in a probability of 1 in 8192 (8/65536), just as in Generation II. Symbolically:
(Trainer ID) xor (Secret ID) = E
(First byteword of personality value) xor (Second byteword of personality value) = F
If E xor F is less than eight, then the Pokémon is shiny.
In Trainer Tower in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen there are two trainers which have shiny Pokémon. In the single battle mode, the seventh trainer has a shiny Meowth, while in double battle mode, the first pair of trainers have a shiny Espeon.
The chance is 0 because they never give shiny Pokemon at the start of the game.I've tried this many times with my sapphire and there was no luck but there are shiny legendary Pokemon you can catch.
That's not true. EVERY Pokemon you encounter in the game has a 1 in 8192 chance of being shiny.
One in a million.
The chances of getting a shiny egg are the same as getting any other shiny; 1 in 8192. However, if you breed 2 Pokemon from different language versions (for example, a Ditto from a German version of the game with an American Bulbasaur), the odds of getting a shiny egg improve four-fold (1 in 2048)
BUBLEHSAUR!!! CLAMEHH/GAMMEH FLANGé >;P
its 1/8192 chance, so you should soft reset a lot (A+B+Start+Select on RSE) to get a shiny starter.
If you're doing it on a DS/DSi/3DS, it's L + R + Start + Select, FYI.
No. When a wild Pokemon appears, it has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny. You don't need to play 60 Hours to find a shiny.
every 1000th wild Pokemon you meet is a shiny, so 1/1000.
If you use the Poke Radar you will have a chance of getting a shiny Pokemon. But the actual Pokemon will not USUALLY change by using the Poke Radar.
you have a tough chance to catch a shiny but just go in the grass and you have about 1 in 8000 of a chance but good luckShiny Pokemon are extremeley rare to catch there is a 1 over 8192 chance of catching one. I remember i did a new game once and found a shiny poochyana and i managed to save game now ive got a shiny mightyana. But they are rare and if your'e really luck you might get one of the legendary Pokemon in shiny version but it's very very rare. Sorry again.
this is a 1 1n 9000 chance, but any wild Pokemon can be shiny. =)
the chance of getting a shiny Pokemon is 1/8496.
It raises the chance of getting a shiny from 1 in 8,192 to 1 in 2,048.
1 in 80,000.
In the second generation, you had a 50% chance of getting a shiny Pokemon this way, but in the 3rd generation onwards, chances were decreased and you did not have a better chance of getting a shiny Pokemon by using this method. Additionally, you won't know if the baby Pokemon will be shiny until it hatches because eggs containing shiny Pokemon do not look any different from eggs that contain non-shiny Pokemon.
It might be shiny but you'll never get it... cause to get any shiny Pokemon it is 1/8192 chance of getting it shiny... so not possible!!!!
There is a chance, but not usually. You can get shinies from eggs of normal colored Pokemon, but that's even rarer than encountering a shiny or getting a shiny from an egg laid by a shiny
In the 2nd generation games (Gold/Silver/Crystal), the offspring will have a 1/64 chance of being shiny. In later generation games, the chance of getting a shiny offspring is the same as encountering a wild shiny Pokemon.
No. When a wild Pokemon appears, it has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny. You don't need to play 60 Hours to find a shiny.
Has a 1 out of 24,576 chance of being a wild Pokemon you catch or battle, which is 1/3 the chance of getting a shiny Pokemon.
there are 1 : 1 000 000 chances of getting shiny Pokemon's without using cheats, but it is possible, remember, if you find a shiny Pokemon's, you only have on chance
The chance of a Pokemon received from an in-game trade being shiny is the same as the chance of capturing a shiny Pokemon in the wild.
It is a 1/8,192 chance of getting a shiny in the wild. It is really rare, so patience is required.
