when rudi was debating whether or not to climb the Vitadel. When Saxo fell and RUdi had to help him instead of climbing to the top.
One of the three major events that happened in Banner in the SKy was that Rudi lied to Winter and it caught up with him. The other two major events was Rudi was alone on Citadel and Rudi decisiion to stay and help Saxo.
Captain Winter and Emil Saxo were at the hut. Saxo thought Rudi wouldn't come because he was afraid of the Citadel like the other Kurtals. But Franz ans his other people came to find Rudi. They had an argument about how it was Saxo's fault why Rudi is missing. Rudi came down from the mountain of Citadel. Told that he found a way to the top of the Citadel, he rested. Franz and Saxo argues again. Franz can't take how Saxo says that Kurtalers are afriad so he said he came to climb the Citadel and so as his friends for victory of Kurtal.
It is called Banner In The sky because Rudy Matt/the main character hopes that one day his red banner will stand on the top of the Citadel/the mountain he wants to climb.
The mood of the poem "And many an eye has danced to see the banner in the sky" is celebratory and joyous, as it describes the excitement and beauty of a banner flying high in the sky. The imagery evokes a sense of wonder and admiration for the spectacle.
