The main problem is that Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, is missing. She was tricked by Atlas into holding up the sky while he joined Kronos's army. But Artemis is needed at Mount Olympus, so Percy and the others have to save her.

∙ 14y agoPercy must decide what's most important: Saving Artemis, finding out what the "Bane of Olympus" is and prevent the titans from achieving it, or saving Annabeth? Also, Percy must also protect Bianca, after promising Nico he would do so. Zoe must also come to terms with traveling with a male.

∙ 12y agoZeus's master lightning bolt was stolen and because of the small rival beetween posiden and Zeus Zeus figures that posidens ONLY son would have stolen it so its up to Percy annabeth and grover(sayter) to get it back from luke and they encounter all kinds of monsters who try to steal the bolt on the way and meanwhile Percy doesn't even know he has it

∙ 12y agoAt the beginning when Annabeth gets kidnapped by the Manticore. So then Percy & Thalia go on a search looking for her. Then when they do find her on top of this mountain Luke tries to kill her. He fails and Percy and Thalia save Annabeth but when the Titan Atlas is about to kill them Zoe stops him but she dies trying to save her new friends.

Person vs. Supernatural. -- this was a key conflict although the book. it is obvious that Percy had to fight monsters and such, and even had contact with some gods. (Apollo, Artemis etc)
Person vs. Person.-- Percy and Thalia fight a lot. Although there not physically or emotionally trying to kill each other. Luke is a good example of this.
