It shows about the first 3. The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, and The Wide Window.
InThe Reptile Room of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, we are introduced to Dr. Montgomery Montgomery, a kind and famous herpetologist (someone who studies reptiles and amphibians) who is the Baudelaires' "late father's cousin's wife's brother." He prefers to go by Uncle Monty. He is the Baudelaire orphans guardian/caretaker after they were taken out of Count Olaf's custody. For more information on Dr. Montgomery and how he is related to the plot of The Reptile Room, look up The Reptile Room on Wikipedia.com.
Well it's been years since I read that book but basically, the orphans go to live with their uncle who owns a room full of reptiles and of course count Olaf comes to try to mess things up and I believe the orphans get locked in cages inside of the "reptile room". In there the "Incredibly deadly viper" comes to the rescue, because of course its name was an oxymoron when juxtapose with its character. That was a rather short summary leaving much to be desired, but I tried my best.
He wrote The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window, The Miserable Mill, The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, The Carnivorous Carnival, The Slippery Slope, The Grim Grotto, The Penultimate Peril, The End, The Composer is Dead, The Lump of Coal, Horseradish: Bitter Truths You Can't Avoid, The Beatrice Letters, The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming, The Baby in the Manger, and The Dismal Dinner.
The conflict was not exactly solved. The man taking care of the children was killed by Olaf with poison, disguised as a snake bite.
Not in my opinion, no.
Lemony Snicket's book, "The Reptile Room" has 190 (one-hundred ninety)pages.
The setting is Uncle Monty's house.

These prices are from Amazon.com, which is often the cheapest for new books. If it's new and hardbound, roughly $10. If it's new and paperback, roughly $7. If it's signed...anything you can get, but around $50.

The Bad Beginning The Reptile Room The Wide Window The Miserable Mill The Austere Academy The Ersatz Elevator The Vile Village The Hostile Hospital The Carnivorous Carnival The Slippery Slope The Grim Grotto The Penultimate Peril The End And then Lemony Snicket goes on to write a fourteenth chapter in the back of The End And it appears in the listing of the books in the back of The End, as though it were a separate book. It is like this because in the Thirteenth chapter he says the Thirteenth chapter is the very last chapter he will write and that it contains the end of The End. But is doesn't. The Fourteenth chapter does.
