What is the easiest way to catch Entei on Pokemon SoulSilver or HearGold?

Choose a Pokemon that has a high level (especially Speed) and is resistant to attacks by Entei. Also if you can use the attacks Mean Look and False Swipe, victory is certain. Try to use a luxury ballor ultra ball. Use the Marking Map App. in you poke watch/poketch to track the Pokemon.

∙ 12y agoThe easiet way to catch metwo would only require 1 to 2 Pokemon. Before doing this save the game. Be sure to bring plenty of ultra balls. Bring 1 Pokemon that knows thunderwave, and 1 dark type Pokemon. (Or a dark type Pokemon with thunderwave) If you need a dark type Pokemon you can catch murkrow on certain pokewalker routes. Start out the battle with your thunderwave Pokemon. Make sure it's able to outspeed mewtwo, or survive one of it's attacks! Parilyze mewtwo. Now unless you are already using a dark type Pokemon, switch out to your dark type. (That is the most important part) Mewtwo only knows 1 attack move, and it's phsyoc cut. That is a phsycic type move so mewtwo can't do anything to your dark type Pokemon! It is good if your dark Pokemon isn't to high leveled. This is why I recomend murkrow from the pokewalker. Keep using dark or ghost attacks that won't do much damage to mewtwo so you can avoid KO'ing it. when its at low health, throw ultraballs until you catch it. This is not how I caught mewtwo. I caught it by acidently throwing a ultra ball at it when it was still at full health.

Be careful, though, if Entei doesn't run or get caught, it can easily defeat Gastly.
