For Moltres, try to use a Marowak to keep using False Wipe until Moltres' HP reaches one. Then, Switch out with an Electric Pokemon that has the ability, Static. When Moltres gets paralyzed by your Electric Pokemon, use a Great Ball. It's been about two years for me, but I remember using this strategy and a Great Ball to capture Moltres.
