I have read this book before. It's mainly about a pre-teen boy, (most likely entering the seventh grade) is written in first-person and the author's name is Jeff Kinney. Greg Heffley is the main character. He tells us about his first year of middle school and Jeff Kinney does a great job of adding some appropriate and common middle- school humor. He has an older brother named Rodrick that often gives Greg a rough- time and often deliberately will make his life miserable!
